Witches and Macbeth

Dear all,

I want to point out the witches in Macbeth. As we all know, in the beginninf of the play, three witches tell Macbeth that he is going to be a king. I think before that he does not even think of murderin the king. However, aftet the speech from the witches, he thinks that he should do something to be a king. So, there is a relation between the witches and Macbeth. He is loyal until talking to the witches. He does not even think of murdering the kill that he is kind of regretful aftet murdering the king. I want to share a king about this issue; the relationship between the three witches and Macbeth.http://www.shakespeare-online.com/faq/macbethfaq/macbethdarkness.html

  1. As you mentioned before Macbeth met with these three witches; he does not even think of murdering the King, maybe he does not think of being the King. When he heard the prophecy of the witches, he became sick. This sickness came from the witches because their one idea became a lethal virus for his mind and dragged him to the deep from the humanity.

  2. It also shows how Macbeth is easily manipulated by others. With witches' saying, "One day, you will be a king", Macbeth causes the chain of events of the play. Besides of witches, he is also affected by Lady Macbeth in a crucial way so that it proves his manipulable mind. In terms of these, it might be said that Macbeth is not a powerful character because he can easily be controlled by others, therefore he has an inside conflict.
