In the Macbeth, the story consist of lots of different plans and ideas in each groups. Therefore, the people that want to make some action think, make a plan and calculating the risks that they are taking. I want to make an analyze to the Act 3, and we can see that from act 3, thinking for the long term is very important to make action before the make decision to do or not to do. For instance, we can infer that from the speeches in the Act 3 scene 2, just killing the king didn't solve the problem and there were still lots of problem for the achieve their goals.
Finally, people should think and make a good organization to their plans in long term and give chance to themselves to solve problems that they make wrong decisions in the past.
This is a good point. Macbeth is sometimes so concerned about the long term consequences of his crime that he doesn't pay attention to his immediate problems, but sometimes it's the opposite. In any case, he seems to have difficulty when it comes to thinking about the future, and this uncertainty torments him.
