The Matrix: Enlightenment

                 Do we really live in the World of Realities? Or let me ask the question like this. How can we know something is real or not, if our definition of ''reality'' is false? Matrix is your kind of movie if you interested in questioning the reality we live in.

I believe there is a connection between Kant's ideas about Enlightenment and the movie's philosophical theme. In one of the scenes Neo ,the protagonist, should make a choice between taking either the red pill or blue pill. Red pill represents the truth and reality or in other name ''enlightenment'' and blue pill represents the virtuality and ignorance. Both Kant's and Matrix's ideologies state that people should not fear to take the step if they want to reach the truth.

                 So if you were in Neo's shoes

                Would you take the red pill and learn the truth no matter how hard it is ?

              OR

                

                 Would you take the blue pill and live as an ignorant but happy person ?
