As we discussed in class, although Alberti says the order is important for artistic creations to be seen beautiful, perfect symmetry is mostly not preferable. For example, we talked about why in Creation of Adam there is no symmetry and we concluded that too much perfection is not beautiful. To see if asymmetry is really more beautiful than the perfect symmetry, I searched symmetrized faces of celebrities and it really shows that asymmetry is better than perfect symmetry. Here are some examples:
